Kelly Williams

Vice President - Business Development

As vice president of business development for Impact Housing Group, Kelly Williams works directly with builders and developers to advance modular housing projects. Williams plays a strategic role for Impact Housing, representing the company and building relationships within the modular housing industry. He is also focused on addressing the U.S. housing shortage by extending the benefits and cost-efficiencies of modular housing to the single-family and built-to-rent segments of the affordable housing market.

Williams, who is a past president of the Modular Building Institute (MBI), brings more than 20 years of modular construction industry experience to Impact Housing. He has worked for some of the most recognized residential modular construction companies in the industry, including VESTA Modular, Champion Homes, and Clayton Homes, where he served as general manager of Clayton Building Solutions. Williams’ experience includes both multifamily and single-family aspects of the modular construction market.

Williams is currently the chairman of the MBI Educational Foundation. He is a past board member and chairman of the Families First Advisory Council, which is the welfare-to-work initiative for the state of Tennessee. Williams holds a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Tennessee. He and his wife, Ronni, are residents of Knoxville.
